Live Oak

Live Oak is a census-designated place in Santa Cruz County, CA, not to be confused with the city of the same name in Sutter County, CA much further up north. This area is also known as “Eastside” among Santa Cruz locals, thanks to its convenient location just off the city’s eastern limits.

This community has a pleasant suburbia-meets-beach town vibe. It has certainly come a long way from being a predominantly rural coastal area, with recent residential and commercial developments boosting its profile, as well as local identity.

One of the biggest draws to Live Oak among homebuyers is its central location between the cities of Santa Cruz and Capitola, Santa Cruz County’s oldest resort town. Living in Live Oak gives you convenient access to the trendiest tourist attractions and local hot spots in either city, while still making sure that you come home to your quiet, peaceful neighborhood at the end of the day.
