Rio Del Mar is an unincorporated community located in Santa Cruz County, California. This community alongside Aptos Hills-Larkin Valley, Cabrillo, Seacliff, and Seascape – all together form the unincorporated town of Aptos. As a beachfront community, Rio Del Mar includes the land areas between the southeastern edge of Aptos, south of Cabrillo Highway and west of San Andreas Road. The neighborhood is known for its tourist-friendly establishments including the many beachfront businesses along Beach Road.

The majority of the neighborhood in Rio Del Mar include suburban residential communities between the beach and Cabrillo Highway. These are beautiful luxury golf and beachfront communities offering some of the best real estate properties in Santa Cruz County.
